IRB Roster Listing
UC Irvine has four IRB Committees, two that review biomedical research (IRB "A", IRB "B"), one that reviews social/behavioral research (IRB "C") and one that reviews matters of possible non-compliance (IRB "E"). IRB "E" is comprised of existing members from IRB "A", "B" and "C" - as noted in the following rosters. The IRB Committees have members from across all schools and many disciplines. Faculty members with various areas of expertise are needed for the committee. A term of service on the committee is three years. The Committee members' contribution of time and expertise is invaluable to the university and its overall commitment to the protection of the rights and welfare of subjects who volunteer to participate in biomedical and social/behavioral research.
