Background

The Introduction to Grants.gov eLearning course was developed to provide an overview of the new electronic application process in an effort to prepare the campus for this change. This 30 minute course is intended for UCI faculty and employees involved in the preparation and submission of grant applications to Federal sponsors. Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the basics of how to prepare and submit a grant application electronically using Grants.gov and identify some special procedures for applications submitted to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Quick Reference Material

Prior to beginning the eLearning course, it is recommended you download the Quick Reference Material (PDF, DOC) referenced during the course. It is recommended you save the material to your computer, so that you can utilize the website links contained within the text. You may also wish to print the handouts for reference to avoid having multiple windows open throughout the course.

Accessing the Course
